Moving Frost

From Spotify:

“Moving Frost is a Dutch indie-rock outfit which started as a high-school collaboration between singer Boris Berg and guitarist Koen Hoogendoorn. They started writing songs together, drawing inspiration from acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead and Ben Howard. After a while they decided to form a band (with Joe Ziemba and Matthijs van Eijzeren) to perform their songs with. They started rehearsing in the attic of an old factory in Rotterdam, the Van Nelle Factory. In the winter of 2018 they recorded their double debut EP Blue/Red in this factory.”

Apart from being a guitar-player and songwriter in the band, I also managed the band’s PR and communication efforts through i.e.,  instagram and Facebook.

We recorded two EPs indepedently in the UNESCO World Heritage site ‘de Van Nellefabriek’ in Rotterdam. I produced both EPs together with Daan Wijnhorst.

For more information about the band and the recordings, please read this interview with VPRO 3voor12 (in Dutch).
